{"id":80549,"date":"2025-11-24T12:30:04","date_gmt":"2025-11-24T11:30:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.archea.it\/?p=80549"},"modified":"2025-12-11T11:54:44","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T10:54:44","slug":"archea-associati-inauguration-of-teatro-nazionale-in-florence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.archea.it\/en\/archea-associati-inauguration-of-teatro-nazionale-in-florence\/","title":{"rendered":"ARCHEA ASSOCIATI | INAUGURATION OF TEATRO NAZIONALE IN FLORENCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"s2\">We are delighted to announce the imminent opening of the Teatro Nazionale in Florence, a historic gem in the heart of the city that is returning to its former glory after a long period of neglect.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">Located behind Dante&#8217;s House, a few steps from Piazza della Signoria and Palazzo Vecchio, the theater has a centuries-old history: founded in the 17th century, it went from being a reformatory to a hospital, then became the Teatro della Quarconia, Teatro del Giglio, and, in the following decades, the Nazionale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">After more than forty years of neglect, Archea Associati began a complex restoration project that lasted four years. The renovated theater seats about 300 people, distributed across a horseshoe-shaped stalls area and 50 boxes. \u00a0In addition to the main hall, there is a bookshop-caf\u00e9 with a jazz area, a kitchen for events (seating up to 150 people), and, above the fourth tier of boxes, an events hall with a sliding roof, offering spectacular views of Florence&#8217;s historic monuments.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">Still in its \u2018running-in\u2019 phase, the theater is temporarily open only for private events, pending authorization for public performances in 2026.
