The project involved the renovation of an old structure from the 1930s, already home to the offices of the San Marco shipyard in Viale San Bartolomeo in La Spezia. The building, divided on three levels, on the ground floor houses the entrance, the reception, the waiting rooms, the offices for the commanders and the surveyors and part of the spaces for the site’s technicians. On the first floor, in addition to the sales, managerial offices and meeting rooms, there is also a large area that houses the technical office. On the second level, with a wonderful view of the gulf, there is a large showroom with a sample room, which can be divided into two smaller areas that can be made completely independent. The plan also includes the bureau offices with its secretarial offices, the sales offices, a guesthouse with two rooms and a kitchen for organising business lunches with customers.

At the centre of the building on Viale San Bartolomeo an element is introduced that emphasises the main entrance to the offices, a new projecting element with a brass finish, which, assuming the curvilinear forms and the construction technology of boating, accentuates the entrance and highlights the constructive and technological knowledge as well as the quality of the shipyard. The interior of the building is organised in a classical way: central corridor, offices overlooking the sea, and service areas, lifts and stairways on the land side. Rounded lines that connect the walls to the ceiling represent a clear reference to the stylistic codes of the nautical world.

[1644,1651
1750,1884
1855
1885
1316,1319
post-63478","progetto","type-progetto","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","anno-1644","anno-1651","luogo-italy","luogo-la-spezia-en","programma-refurbishment","cliente-sanlorenzo-cantieri-navali-di-la-spezia-srl","tipologia_progetto-architecture","tipologia_progetto-interiors
["GET
