{"id":79823,"date":"2025-08-01T18:15:00","date_gmt":"2025-08-01T16:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.archea.it\/?post_type=progetto&#038;p=79823"},"modified":"2025-08-01T18:18:06","modified_gmt":"2025-08-01T16:18:06","slug":"butterfly-office-building","status":"publish","type":"progetto","link":"https:\/\/www.archea.it\/en\/progetto\/butterfly-office-building\/","title":{"rendered":"Butterfly Office Building"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"s2\">Located in the heart of Taipei&#8217;s Songshan district, between Dunhua North Road and Minquan East Road, the design for the new headquarters of TransGlobe Life Insurance Inc., is an iconic and strategic intervention, aimed at consolidating corporate identity through distinctive and proprietary architecture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">With a total built area of about 70,000 square meters, including basement levels, and nestled in an urban park of about 10,000 square meters, the building is proposed as a new landmark in the urban landscape of the Taiwanese capital. The project is based on volumetric research that combines functionality, energy efficiency, and symbolic value: the curvilinear shape of the fa\u00e7ade, the signature element of the intervention, draws fluid and continuous trajectories, whose projection on the ground recalls the harmonic movements of birds and aircraft.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">This formal approach not only gives the building a strong recognizability, but also allows optimal penetration of natural light into the interior spaces, improving the comfort of workspaces and contributing to lower energy consumption.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">Designed in collaboration with LIN + ARCHITECTS and with structural support from ENVISION Engineering Consultants, the building reflects a careful balance between technological innovation, sustainability and corporate representativeness.
