Archea Associati opens a new office in Shanghai, marking another step in the firm’s internationalization process. The new office strengthens its presence in the Asian market, ensuring a direct presence in one of the world’s most dynamic urban areas and supporting the coordination of projects throughout Asia.
The opening consolidates a relationship with China that has been active for over twenty years, starting with the Beijing office in 2004 and developed through projects in the fields of architecture, urban design, and cultural research. Among the most significant projects completed in the country are the Yanqing International Grape Exhibition Garden, the Liling World Ceramic Art City, the Tongji University Pavilion, the Shanghai University Pavilion, and the UBPA B3-2 for Expo 2010.
The firm recently completed the new headquarters of the East China Electric Power Design Institute (ECEPDI), a project that contributed to its recognition as Best Architect of the Year 2024 in Shanghai.
With its new headquarters, Archea Associati renews and expands its international network, confirming its commitment to developing architecture capable of connecting cultures and territories.
