Piazza Italia, the new urban project designed by Marco Casamonti / Archea Associati in collaboration with local authorities and the Italian Embassy in Brazil, has been inaugurated in Rio de Janeiro. The project, conceived as a place for cultural exchange and interaction, celebrates the historical and contemporary ties between Italy and Brazil through an architectural language that intertwines materials, light, and landscape. The square is an open and dynamic public space, capable of hosting events, exhibitions, and social gatherings, giving the city a new landmark in the heart of Rio. With this project, Marco Casamonti / Archea Associati confirms its commitment to designing urban spaces that combine local identity with international appeal.
