The volume “SPACES + PLACES,” published by Actar Publishing, brings together a selection of projects by Marco Casamonti / Archea Associati, divided into two distinct but complementary sections: Architecture and Interiors.
The first volume, dedicated to architectural works, offers a sequence of images and drawings that illustrate the studio’s design research: not a stylistic “signature,” but a continuous journey of architectural exploration of a theme, applied in different contexts.
The section dedicated to interiors and installations for exhibitions, in the second volume, describes architecture as a matryoshka doll of spaces: from the natural environment to interiors, each level contains and defines the next. The book reflects on the difference between permanent projects, designed for a generic user and for an extended duration, and temporary projects, conceived as a precise translation of specific needs.
