On July 10, 2025, at the Palazzo delle Federazioni in Milan, the conference “Sports Facilities of the Future – From Territory to Excellence” was held, an event aimed at designers, institutions, technicians and managers of the sports sector to explore issues related to the evolution of sports facilities in Italy.
Speakers in the session “Designing the Facility of the Future” included architect Luca Romagnoli, head of the Milan office of Archea Associati. His speech highlighted the crucial role of architecture in the design of innovative, sustainable and integrated sports facilities in the urban context, capable of responding to the needs of communities and becoming true social catalysts.
The event, promoted by AIS – Associazione Impianti Sportivi, represented an important opportunity for discussion among institutions, designers and companies in the sector, focusing on the dialogue between architectural quality, technological innovation and funding opportunities.
Archea Associati thus continues its commitment to sports-related design research, contributing to the definition of new scenarios for the sports facilities of the future.
