The Auris Residenze project by Marco Casamonti / Archea Associati received an Honorable Mention at the 2025 International Architecture Awards®, an award given by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, and the European Center for Architecture, Art, Design, and Urban Studies.
Located in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil, Auris stands out for its architecture that combines nature, innovation, and sustainability. The tower, conceived as a living organism, twists dynamically toward the ocean, enveloped in a green skin of sunshades and pots, reinforcing the link between living space and landscape.
Made of terracotta-colored pigmented concrete, the work adopts advanced technological solutions, including an exoskeleton structure and design strategies geared towards LEED Platinum and WELL certification, thanks to the collaboration with Petinelli Consulting.
This international recognition celebrates the project’s ability to transform the urban skyline and establish itself as a symbol of responsible architecture, capable of evolving in harmony with the environment.
