area magazine presents “a,” the new podcast dedicated to the ideas, projects, and reflections that are transforming contemporary architecture, hosted by architect Marco Casamonti, the magazine’s editor-in-chief.
Organized into two weekly segments, “The Editor’s Pitch” and “Architecture in Brief,” the podcast offers a space for in-depth analysis and discussion on key themes in design culture. In the first segment, Marco Casamonti addresses emerging issues in architecture and the challenges facing contemporary society, ranging from climate change to artificial intelligence, as well as topics such as housing, materials, and land use. The second segment, hosted by Daria Ricchi, gives a voice to architects, designers, and key figures in contemporary culture through conversations focused on buildings, exhibitions, books, and projects.
