
Architect Marco Casamonti participated as a speaker at the conference “Ecosophy. Climate Change and Cultural Heritage: Actions and Interventions,” held on June 25 in the prestigious Sala d’Arme of Palazzo Vecchio in Florence.
The initiative, promoted to reflect on the relationship between cultural heritage and environmental crisis, brought together experts, scholars and professionals in the field to discuss intervention strategies and new models of sustainability applied to the protection and enhancement of cultural heritage.
In his speech, Arch. Casamonti shared the views of contemporary architecture with respect to the ecological challenge, emphasizing the central role of design in combining innovation, memory and environmental responsibility. A significant opportunity to reiterate the importance of an ethical and conscious approach to the transformation of the territory, in a continuous dialogue between past and future.
