Responsibilities
• Development of structural design for civil, commercial, and industrial works (new constructions and interventions on existing structures), in collaboration with the design team.
• Modeling, analysis, and verification of reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, wood, and mixed structures.
• Drafting of technical documents, calculation reports, and working drawings.
• Coordination with architectural and plant designers and with the Works Management.
• Verification and compliance with current technical regulations (NTC, Eurocodes, etc.).
• Technical support during the construction phase and assistance to the Works Management, if required.
• Participation in internal and external technical meetings with clients and collaborators.
Requirements
• Degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in structures or degree in Construction Engineering and registration in the professional register (or planning to register).
• At least 2 years’ experience gained in engineering firms or design companies
in modeling and structural calculation of reinforced concrete, prestressed reinforced concrete, steel, and masonry structures, in accordance with NTC 2018 and Eurocodes.
• In-depth knowledge of Italian and European technical standards (NTC 2018,
Eurocodes).
• Excellent knowledge of structural modeling and design software (e.g.
Modest, Advance Design, PCM, ACM, SAP2000, Tekla Structures, other
industry software).
• Excellent knowledge of the main design programs Autocad – Revit
(preferable), etc.
• Knowledge of BIM environment preferable.
• Ability to independently draft calculation reports and technical design documentation.
