The new 8-week intensive and immersive BIM course will start on 13 May 2024.

The course, organised by and under the technical collaboration of NTI-NKE, aims to train professionals not only in the knowledge of the BIM process, but to provide practical rules for the effective management of basic and advanced architectural modelling tools. Case studies of real design and BIM process will be analysed in the context of the Archea Associati studio in Florence. Participants will have access to a customised training path, focused on practical activities and targeted daily technological insights. They will get to know the Studio’s projects and develop, with the best professionals in the sector, effective workflows for excellent BIM Oriented solutions. It will be a challenging path that will lead to the emergence and growth of real BIM skills. The soul of the BIM process aligns with the design and composition essence of the Archea Associati studio.

This sixth edition will feature in-depth lectures by guests of excellence such as:

Marco Casamonti: Professor and Architect Founder of Archea Associati, with thirty years of experience in the coordination and realisation of projects in Italy and internationally. The firm’s many projects include the renovation of the former wine warehouse for Eataly, the redevelopment of the Mercato Centrale in Florence, and the construction of the Antinori winery in Chianti Classico.

Mattia Borrione: After gaining various experiences abroad, in 2016 he began his collaboration with Studio ARCHEA ASSOCIATI / MC&P, dedicating himself in particular to the project and Art Direction of the National Stadium of Albania, following the entire construction site in Tirana. In 2021, he also obtained certification as BIM Coordinator from the ICMQ institute.

Filippo Cannata: a multi-award winning Lighting Designer famous all over the world, to which he has been exporting his personal and revolutionary concept of lighting for more than 30 years. Works that can boast his touch include the Reggia di Caserta, the Royal Olympic Hotel in Athens and the Centre Régional de la Méditerranée in Marseille, realised in collaboration with architect Stefano Boeri.

Some professionals who will participate in the master’s course, should they wish, will have the opportunity to start a collaborative path with the Studio.
